Comedian and actress Kym Whitley spent some time in the studio with GRIFF and guest host Maurette Brown-Clark. She talked about her show, “Raising Whitley,” on OWN and her 5-year-old son Joshua. She also details the activity of her non-profit organization, Comics for Kids. She explains that the organization primarily deals with picking up foster children and bringing them to Hollywood and Beverly Hills to show them another side of life, which ultimately makes it more attainable for them.

She recalls the touching email she received from two of the boys who were a part of her program, thanking her for her work and revealing their amazing accomplishments since.
