Pat Smith explained to Erica Campbell & GRIFF that it took years for her to write her book, “Second Chances,” and how it felt when she was finally able to write it. She described it as “God’s gift,” saying that she was just the vessel through which it came. Pat also talked about the value of pain and suffering in life, saying “there’s purpose in pain.” Then, she opened up about the divorce she went through, and how she and her husband have gotten to a place of mutual brotherly love and respect for each other.
