In this edition of Faith Walking, Erica Campbell talks about Hannah in the first chapter of 1 Samuel. She was one of two wives; Peninnah, Elkanah’s other wife, had children, and Hannah had none. Peninnah, Erica explains, would tease Hannah endlessly about her lack of children, so Hannah prayed for a gift from God that she could give back to Him, and He rewarded her.
So Erica asks, what are you praying for that you can give back to God? Are you only praying for something for your benefit?
