This morning, Robin Roberts interviewed former Cosby Show actor Geoffrey Owens on Good Morning America about how he felt after the publicity surrounding his employment at Trader Joe’s. A customer snapped a picture of Owens at work, which was posted to social media and has since gone viral, with people defending the actor’s choice to seek work outside of acting to support his family.
