Uber is introducing a new “Quiet Mode” for riders who prefer to ride in silence.
All riders have to do is click either “Quiet preferred” or “Happy to chat” in the ride preferences section of the app after they have requested a car. The new feature is for riders who select an Uber Black or Uber Black SUV premium ride.

Additional added features include a “Help with Luggage”, “Temperature Control” and “Extended Pickup Period” for those needing a little more time to get to their car.
