Today’s step for success is taken from my book, “It only takes a minute to change your life.” The question often comes to me. How long does it take to change your life? What most people believe that it takes a long time. But that is a myth and reality it only takes a minute. That’s right. The minute you decide to change your life and then you move in a new direction to the minute you change your life.
Well, what takes a long time is getting ready to make the decision. People bounce around their idea. Whether they should or whether they shouldn’t. Debating the idea many think about the idea for so long that they get caught up in the paralysis of analysis and nothing ever gets done.
You know Doctor Howard Thurman, the great theologian, said. The minute the moment you conquer fear, that is the moment that the battle is won. The skirmishes will come, but the battle is won. The minute you overcome your fears and move in a new direction, you were born to win. So today, choose to win and move on it.
