Pastor Mike Jr. Inks Deal With Capitol Christian Music Group

Pastor Mike Jr. is a shining example of what it looks like to bet on yourself. PMJ has signed a distribution and publishing deal with Capitol Christian Music Group’s Re:Think label. This solidifies a partnership between the label and his Rock City Media Group following this year’s successful “I Got It” EP.
ReThink Music is the entrepreneurial arm of Capitol CMG. They aim to help artists grow their listener base while allowing them to keep ownership in their hands.
In a statement, Pastor Mike Jr. said he’s excited to push the envelope and further his mission to elevate the genre of Christian and Gospel music all while providing a platform for him and new artists to shine.
“Our partnership with Capitol CMG’s Re:Think has been incredibly successful and we look forward to continuing to blaze a trail for future artists to follow,” said Pastor Mike Jr. “I am excited to work with the incredible team Jeff Gunkel has formed.”
Pastor Mike Jr., the self-proclaimed “New King of Urban Inspiration,” is a 19-time Stellar Award winner. He’s earned five consecutive number one singles on Billboard’s Gospel Airplay chart. This includes his breakout single “B!G.” He recently wrapped up a sold-out 30 city U.S. tour alongside McDonald’s Inspiration Celebration Gospel Tour dubbed the I Got Away Tour. He’s also the senior pastor of Rock City Church in Birmingham, AL.
