Gospel duo Ted & Sheri joined Erica Campbell on Get Up Mornings to discuss their musical reunion and the release of their reimagined classic, You’ve Been So Faithful. When asked about reuniting in the studio, Sheri joked about the challenges of being in “these 50 streets” versus their 20s but noted the spiritual connection felt like “riding a bike.” For both, their authenticity as artists and the ability to convey genuine emotion through their music remain key. “It’s not about what people hear; it’s about what they feel,” Sheri emphasized.

Beyond their duo work, Ted & Sheri have also served in gospel music alongside legends like Richard Smallwood and Donald Lawrence. Sheri highlighted the importance of mentorship in their careers, saying, “We connected with people doing what we wanted to do but at a higher level. Serving is essential in this musical and spiritual journey.” Ted added that working with such icons was a form of “artist development,” teaching them professionalism, punctuality, and discipline.
