Tony Rock: “I’m Walking, Talking, Living, Breathing Proof That God Is Real” [EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW]

Comedian, actor, writer, and producer Tony Rock came into the “Get Up!” studio to visit Erica Campbell and GRIFF. He tells a funny story about going to the premiere of the movie “Hitch,” with his whole family, only to find out his scenes got cut. He also shares his powerful testimony, saying “I’m walking, talking living breathing proof that God is real.” He details his upbringing in what he calls the bottom: Bedstuy Brooklyn at the height of the crack epidemic.

Still, Tony explains that growing up in a huge family helped him develop the focus and drive that helped him avoid the pitfalls of such conditions in their neighborhood. Plus, he talks about accomplishing his dream of hosting All Def Comedy Live, finding his lane and not being in the shadow of his brother, Chris Rock.
