In this Ericaism, Erica Campbell discusses the fact that social media can make you look like you’re doing more than you actually are, and people invest a lot into it and then don’t take time for themselves. Erica calls it a social media time warp. Sometimes, we waste hours scrolling, instead of dedicating time to ourselves. Erica realized that sometimes we scroll to escape whatever is going on in our lives that we don’t want to be immersed in.

But Erica urges us not to get caught up in the versions of other people’s lives that they’re crafting on social media, but rather, to focus on our own lives. We have to make time to foster peace and healing for ourselves. Check out this exclusive video to hear more of this message in this clip from “Get Up! Mornings With Erica Campbell.
