Canton Jones talks about the conversation he had with Dr. Oz about music. In the scriptures, “the sound of the Lord” represents the presence of God. This is an indication of how important the sounds you take in actually are. Canton explains that, if you take in the wrong sounds, you develop corresponding issues way before you know you have them.

Canton also talks about the sounds he is attracted to in music; beats that were often the hosts of narratives that he didn’t quite agree with or want to hear all the time. He discusses the desire he had to put God over the types of beats, and how that translates to his church, which aims to bring in men who feel represented by those beats.
