Singer Anthony Brown will make his acting debut in the national tour of “Momma’s Boy.”
In the stage play according to The Gospel Guru fans will see Brown sing hit songs as he plays the role of “Pastor Kyaire Williams.”
Brown said, “I’m so grateful to join the cast of ‘Momma’s Boy.’ My character does his best to save his brother from a hard life in the streets … works hard to lead him to Jesus. This role is perfect for me because it reminds me of my mission in real life. It doesn’t matter where you come from … when you have Jesus it becomes more about where you are going.”
Other cast members of “Momma’s Boy” include Johnny Gill, Robin Givens, Nephew Tommy, Jackeè Harry and more.
The play will travel to several cities to entertain fans and we look forward to seeing Anthony Brown in this role.
