Isabel Davis chatted with Erica Campbell and GRIFF about her new song, “Jesus We Love You.” She explains why she decided to remake the song, whose original was first done by a group called “Bethel.” She says it’s an anthem, and a harsh cry of gratitude to God for all he has done for us. She marvels: “who else can love you, when you’re so unloveable at times?” She talks about the full album, “The Call,” and explains that its a lot of songs that “churches can sing all over,” inspired by the desire to come together and call on heaven.

Isabel also talks about growing up alongside her sister, Cristabel, who also has music out right now, as well more siblings in a musical household, and how often they get to sing together nowadays. She shares the biggest musical listen that her father, who passed away, has imparted to her. She also talks about her new baby boy, Kingston, and how he’s doing.
