G.I. Recalls Bombing A Performance In Their High School Talent Show [EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW]


Gospel group G.I. came through to the “Get Up!” studio and talked about their new album, “Winning” and its lead single, “We Win.” G.I. consists of three members: Branden, Rufus and Lamonte, who have known each other for two decades. They talk about asking God what He wanted them to say, and writing the song in ten minutes. He also talks about feeling the pressure to follow “Pray And Don’t Worry,” the hit single prior, with something that measures up.

New album, “Winning”. They talk about the new challenges that come even though they’ve been recording and are on their third album. They talk about being close friends since their high school days, and a time the performed during their freshman year when they totally bombed.
