In this edition of the Ericaism, Erica Campbell reflects on a list of accomplishments that she and her sister compiled in hopes of achieving as Mary Mary. Some things on the list include doing a live recording, singing at Carnegie Hall and performing at the Kennedy Center. Recently, Mary Mary was invited to sing their song “Shackles” at an event for the National Museum of African-American History and Culture.

Little did she know, this event is at the Kennedy Center! This whole time, they’ve been trying to meet the right person to line up the opportunity, but it just came out of the blue. All she had to do was be patient and wait on God, because He remembers our requests.
