Erica Campbell starts off this morning’s Ericaism with one powerful bit of advice. She says; “If you’re only happy when things are good, and you fall a part when things are bad, then your faith is in things, and not God.”

It’s easy for us to say, “yes, I have faith,” but do we really? And how much faith do we have, when we can only smile during the good times, and not during the bad. Erica reminds us that our faith in God is supposed to be stronger than our love and trust in things, places, or people. When things go wrong, we should still know that God’s got it, and that should keep us calm in the face of hardship or uncertainty. Click on the audio player to hear more on “Get Up!
