Tamar & Ms. E Bring Timeless Recipes to TV with 'Cooking Sessions'

Tamar Braxton and her mother, Ms. E, are teaming up to bring a new cooking show, Cooking Sessions with Tamar and Ms. E, to Cleo TV. The mother-daughter duo has been cooking together for years and are now excited to share their culinary talents with the world.

Tamar revealed that the show has been a decade in the making, with previous contractual obligations delaying its debut. “I’m just so grateful that we have been able to spin the block and create this amazing cooking show that has a lot of love, laughter, and, of course, great recipes,” she shared. Their dynamic will offer viewers a taste of their family life, mixing delicious food with even better conversation.

Ms. E, the matriarch of the Braxton family, has been cooking for years with her children, and she’s excited to finally share this with the world. “The food is just delicious,” she said. “This has been a desire of ours, and especially mine, for a long time, and I’m looking forward to sharing it with everyone.”

Tamar and Ms. E’s kitchen relationship is filled with fun and some friendly competition. Tamar shared, “When I put my spin on her recipes, she gets upset about it and thinks hers is better than mine, and vice versa. But mine are better!” While they might have different approaches in the kitchen, they both agree that family is the heart of the show.

Along with the cooking show, Tamar is also launching a podcast titled I Do. Life, Love, and Beyond, where she discusses mental health, love, and overcoming challenges. Tamar sees the podcast as another space for meaningful conversations, much like what happens in the kitchen. “In the kitchen, we give a lot of advice, and it’s filled with conversations and laughter—that’s what life is about,” she said.

When asked about her family’s success, Ms. E beamed with pride. “I am so, so proud. Can’t you see my chest sticking out?” she laughed. “It’s wonderful because it’s a dream come true. And not only that, but it shows others that it’s okay to be a family. It’s okay to have the good, the bad, and even the ugly. But as long as you love each other and support each other, that’s what matters.”

Cooking Sessions with Tamar and Ms. E will premiere on Cleo TV on Wednesday, March 26, and Tamar encourages everyone to tune in with their loved ones. “This is a show you don’t want to miss. It’s a show you’ll want to watch with your family and laugh,” she said.
