Pastor YPJ talks about reaching an audience of millennials who have largely grown up in an absence of not just the father figures, but family values as well. He breaks down the differences he notices in the millennial generation in terms of family structure, compared to the generations before them, who mostly dealt with the “war on drugs” and its effects on the community.
He talks about being a part of these kids’ lives as a black man who is not trying to fill in the place of their father,but rather through leading by example instead & show them a better way of being, rather than beating men over the heads.
