Dolly, known for his infectious energy and uplifting music, shared that his new single is a reminder to never forget what God has brought you through. “Especially right now, with so much negativity in the world, this song is about remembering where you’ve been and how God has carried you,” he said. The track is set to release on Good Friday, April 18, 2025.
Beyond music, Dolly opened up about facing a dark period in his life, which delayed his creative output. “God had to break me down to build me back up,” he revealed. Getting married was also a transformative experience, forcing him to reassess his priorities and grow spiritually. Now, he feels stronger and ready to embrace this next season of his career.
Another exciting milestone for Dolly is his upcoming performance at the Roots Picnic in his hometown of Philadelphia. “Every year, people ask me why I’m not on that stage. Now, I finally get to bring gospel to a pop culture setting and introduce people to Jesus in a different way,” he said.

Before wrapping up, Erica Campbell assured Dolly of continued support, adding him to the Get Up Church prayer list. “We love your transparency—it’s a testimony that will encourage others,” she said.
